Necessity - The Mother of All Inventions -

The Blast Off range of cabinets was born out of the frustrations of an engineer who struggled in getting components professionally bead blasted in the open market. The last straw was when he one day went to collect his completed job only to discover that two of the thirty parts he handed in to the servicing company , had been lost. The components , being from an antique motor car , were not easily or economically replaced.

He decided to buy his own cabinet

The ensuing problem was that the only cabinets which were available to do the job necessitated large , high capacity 415 volt air compressors. Having access to only domestic 240volt power , our man was stumped. As an engineer , he studied the design of the units on offer and immediately saw areas of potential improvement.

He set about building his own cabinet.
